The 5th Annual Forks of the River Fly Fishing Festival is right around the corner!
We’re kicking off the weekend Friday, March 6 with a Celebration of Women in Fly Fishing Dinner, presented in partnership with @ifishibelong as part of the North Carolina DIY Fishing Weekend. Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling from incredible guest speakers—an opportunity to gather, listen, learn, share, and grow together as anglers and as people. All are welcome.

We’ve seen a beautiful and exciting uptick in youth wanting to learn more about fly tying!
After chatting with parents bringing their kids out to Tuesday Night Fly Tying, this idea was born!
So here we go- we will have an after-school youth fly tying series led by local legend and owner/operator of Freddie’s Fishing Service, Sammy Cathey, alongside Jeremy Maupin. This class is designed to introduce young anglers to the art of fly tying in a fun, encouraging environment. All classes will be held at our main location in Rosman.
